It's Time to Power-Up Your Life!

Harvey Hubbell.
The name may not mean much to you at first thought. However, Harvey Hubbell becomes a “light-bulb moment” when you flip a switch to turn on a light or when you use your culinary skills on the stove.
Prior to Hubbell’s innovation, electrical devices had to be hardwired into a power source.
Talk about hardship!
But Mr. Hubbell fixed all that with his invention of AC (alternating current) power plugs and sockets.
Due to his creative ability, you can conveniently plug an appliance into an outlet, garnering electricity easier and safer.
Today, you can thank Harvey Hubbell for making many daily activities a breeze.
Blow drying your hair.
Watching your favorite TV show.
Putting clothes in a dryer instead of hanging them outside on a “solar” clothesline.
The list could go on and on.
But let me digress for a moment.
Was Harvey Hubbell a take charge kind of guy or more laid back?
I don’t have a clue.
But it really doesn’t matter whether he had a Type A or B Personality.
What matters is this - he “electrified” our lives.
Now, you may not “light up" a room when you enter.
You may not be the most “electrifying” person in your circle.
And that’s OK!
Most people don’t have that charismatic drawing power.
But you do have the “power” to better your life.
Now, here’s your weekly Principle, Plan, a Positive Approach in Going Forward, and a Podcast.
Principle
Developing good habits will energize your life.
Plan
Flip the switch to power up one habit that’s fizzled out over time and then work on another one, then another, and another.
A Positive Approach Going Forward
Continue to add good habits to your “fuse box” to power up your life. Here are a few suggestions: patience, good communication skills, organization, and self-control.
Podcast
Power Up by listening to James Clear discuss behavioral change through daily habits.
